azalea : fashion from and for you

azalea is the name of an astonishing flower which is the symbol of womanhood in ancient china; it refers to beauty, tenderness, fragility and rareness.
That means a woman regardless of her shape, color...etc is the origin of all the previous qualities; every woman is beautiful, and since the essence of fashion is beauty, then you are the very essence of fashion. You are the muse that inspires fashion designers to come up with their great collections and dazzling trends. Also its you who wears these designs to bring them to life and make them worthwhile.....
fashion is coming from you and made for you so use your share of it to boost the beauty you already have.

girly, sweet , decent and practical

Lately, the trend of tonics and short dresses wore on a pair of pants - mostly jeans- has become increasingly popular. I'm a fan of this trend for many reasons, some of them are:
most of these designs are girly and give u a sweet
innocent look, they are suitable for both veiled and non veiled girls as they are descent and trendy at the same time, they suit many body shapes and sizes, they are really practical and enable freedom of movement due to the presence of jeans or pants, also the variety of designs makes them suitable for many places and occasions starting from college to birthdays and small parties.
this topic includes some examples of these tonics and dresses; u can find similar ones in most malls and shops all over Cairo including al mohandeseen , al haram , and even west el balad.

About fashion and me

Fashion and me have a long history together; it's not a matter of the past few years starting when I realized that I want my career to be related to it, my experience with fashion started many years earlier than that. I may say that I've been obsessed with fashion since the day I was born, but let's not exaggerate. But it's a fact that I thought about fashion when I was very young before I even knew what the word means. The first thing I can remember is that when I was about six or seven years my favorite game was to bring out mum's clothes and put on her dresses – although they were toooooooo big for me and I looked hilarious – then pretend that I'm a princess or so and sometimes I just put them on without doing anything more except looking in the mirror. Becoming a bit older I took mum's scarves and veils, tied them together and made outfits for me and my friends and cousins and show them to our family in some sort of a kid fashion show or defile and it made my day to get a nice comment from a family member although now I believe they thought I was crazy or something – and they still think I'm : D :D – then I began to sew little outfits for my dolls; I spent so many hours doing so and enjoyed it so much. A few years later when I entered middle school I began to define this obsession of mine and put it into the word fashion. In 2nd prep I started to draw my first fashion sketches which have improved gradually by time till now and I'm hoping they will keep improving to reach a more professional level. Although I'm now a student in the faculty of mass comm., I'm still having the symptoms of fashion mania. I spend hours and hours watching defiles and seeking fashion related pictures and material from any possible source. I'm passionate about the way of movement of all types of fabrics; even when the air hits a piece of cloth or a bed sheet hanging from a balcony I watch it with the utmost enjoyment. The glare of jewels, beads and even glitter can make me stare like a lunatic.

I guess it became obvious to you now how much I'm practically mad about fashion and that I'm not yet – and hope I'll never be – cured from fashion mania.

Lately I've started to act as some sort of a fashion consultant or stylist for my friends, relatives and colleagues; I often accompany them during shopping and advice them as much as I can, depending on my long history with fashion. From there the idea of this blog came where I wanted to use my knowledge of fashion to help more girls and ladies to become even more gorgeous than they already are and I hope that I can realize this.
